I tend to be fairly annoying when sick - somehow I don't quite get the concept of 'resting until better'! I came down with the flu last week, but though I could just work around it. Well, yesterday my body put its foot down by means of a nasty fever, runny nose and hacking cough. I decided it was time for a doctor's visit (now, now, no coughing noises from the peanut gallery! hehe), and have now got some good ol' antibiotics and cortisone to kick this bug in the butt.
Am very grateful for my sick day companions: my lovely bed, Mac, Home magazine, coffee and almond croissant to make it all a little more bearable :)
