Weekend Ramblings | Teaching Hubby to Shoot in Manual and 'The Face'

It's been an interestingly varied weekend ;) From Friday evenings viewing of Swan Lake (hubby's comments varied from 'They should really have subtitles' to 'This ish is gonna get reaaaaal right about now!'), to Gran's visit from Jhb, and then to a stunning shoot today. I really do feel blessed beyond measure :). It's amazing how the Lord sends things to us as we need them - thank you so much to all of you who have let Him speak to me through you, truly.

On Saturday arvi I spent some time teaching Hubby how I use my camera in manual. Now, I'm really no model, and the grass shots were taken shortly after I was briskly awakened from my lovely afternoon nap! However, I was taught an important lesson: I have a terrifying 'Face'. Now ladies I'm sure you know what I'm talking about - that withering face that could drop someone at 20 paces. Well, after seeing several pics with my 'Face' I really need to work on being a bit more wifely and loving! My husband puts up with a lot ;)

Trust hubby to love a photo like this ;)

Kelly Moore advert perhaps?

The Windy Face.

The 'Oh my lands, is that the flash?!' face.

Really not too sure, but forced hubby onto the other side of the camera for a bit!!

And as promised, a piccie of my hyacinth in bloom - ooh I'm in love with flowers right now! (If you haven't noticed ;) )
